Bird Aeris AM9 frame with Super Deluxe

I have for sale my Bird Aeris AM9 frame in XL.

It is a 29" 150 mm travel frame that is very large for an XL (similar to an XXL Hightower) - 522 mm reach, 680 mm top tube. It is designed for 150 mm forks, but can take a 160 mm fork as well.

I bought the frame as a complete bike in February 2019 and used it until July 2023 - it has been unused for the past year. The frame has been wrapped in Invisiframe protective film since new - it was the prototype Aeris AM9 in XL and the film was applied by Invisiframe.

The shock has been replaced under warranty in November 2020 and the MY20 Super Deluxe Ultimate (230x65) has been serviced every 50 hours (Aircan service) or 200 hours (full rebuild) with original parts ever since. The bearings have been replaced with Enduro Max LLU bearings in January 2023, ridden for half a year and are in good condition.

The frame comes with the shock, a bolt-on seat collar, a QR Bird seat collar, spare derailleur hanger (both freshly checked with an alingment tool), Bird multitool (unused) and Bird chainstay neoprene protection. Also available are matching colour Super Deluxe (MY20) and Pike (MY18/19) Slick graphics stickers.

The frame also comes with a custom designed, one of one bottle cage adapter enabling the use of a 600 ml bottle with a piggyback shock and a 3D printed bearing cover for the main pivot (additional protection from mud) that can be double-side stuck to the swingarm.

The bearing protection and shock stickers can be applied, Invisiframe film removed and/or 3M Mastic tape (rubber sticky protective tape) applied in select locations as was applied to the bike since new (chainstay and downtube protection). Chainguide, +40 mm post mount adapter, headset, etc., also available.
