Kona Unit Singlespeed s. Small

Hi,
For sale is a Kona Unit bike in size S, occasionally used by my partner.
First off, the bike is being sold in its factory configuration, meaning without a dropper post and without a drivetrain, so it’s a single-speed setup (32/18). The bike was purchased in August 2022.

Main features:

• Beautiful steel frame made from Reynolds 520 (chromoly) in a stunning pink color
• The frame accommodates tires up to 3" wide (tested)
• Low standover height
• Geometry suitable for both flat terrain and some singletracks
• Wheels are tubeless-ready and set up as such
• Excellent base for touring/bikepacking (anything cage mounts on the fork, rack mounts, top tube bento box mounts, and bottle cage mounts on the down tube)

The bike was intended for trails like Singletrack pod Smrkem and Glacensis, but unfortunately, due to health issues, my partner can't ride rigid bikes on such terrain. For flat terrain, we have gravel bikes.

My partner is 164 cm tall, and the bike fit her perfectly (I can send photos to interested buyers). I think it would work well for someone 160–180 cm tall. The bike is quite long for a size S. For example, my brother, who is 178 cm tall, tested it on November 10, and it also fit him very well (it’s all about stem spacers and seatpost adjustments). The bike has been on two multi-day trips and a dozen or so local rides. The total mileage is no more than 1,000 km, probably closer to 600–700 km.

I could write about the bike being serviced regularly, blah blah blah, but the truth is, a steel single-speed bike (which is how it was ridden most of the time) rarely needs servicing. The crankset was replaced from the stock FSA to a Shimano Deore 170 mm. Other than that, it’s in factory configuration.

On request, I can swap the tires for Maxxis Ikon in size 2.2". These roll slightly faster than the stock WTB Ranger 2.6" tires, which are better suited for rough terrain with a much more aggressive tread. I can also install inner tubes if someone doesn’t want to bother with tubeless.
