The Transition Bikes Sentinel is the bike for all trail lovers who like it a little smoother! Thanks to its 29-inch wheels, 160 mm suspension travel at the front and 150 mm at the rear, the trail bike can be used universally and turns familiar trails into a completely new experience.
The frame of the Transition Sentinel is made entirely of carbon. The unique EPS molding process with latex coating enables a particularly defined frame shape, saving unnecessary material and thus a very good stability-to-weight ratio. The GiddyUp suspension allows the Sentinel to shine on the trails, because even if the suspension is not optimally tuned to the rider and the terrain, it still works perfectly. This has been achieved by adjusting the characteristic curve, which also enables efficient pedaling and reduces the impact on the chain. Small bumps are absorbed rigorously and the support in the mid-travel range seems endless with a pleasant end progression. The suspension works so efficiently that a remote lever is superfluous. The lightweight frame comes with an air shock that offers 150 mm of travel. The Sentinel can be ridden with both air and coil shocks. The sag can be adjusted from 25 to 35% to suit your own preferences, from playful and reactive to calm and compensating. Another highlight of the Sentinel is the short seat tube, which allows a long dropper post and thus unrestricted freedom of movement on the trails. On the underside of the top tube, a holder for the spare tube or bar has been included. The threaded BSA bottom bracket, internally routed cables for gears and dropper post and external brake line are easy to service. The frame is protected by rubber protectors on the down tube, seat and chain stays. Thanks to the tire clearance of up to 2.6 inches, the Sentinel can be pimped up with coarse gravity tires for excursions on enduro trails.
