Item description: Cube Stereo 170 TM 29
Hi everyone,
I'm selling my Cube Stereo 170 TM 29 (model year 2021) here, as I no longer ride the bike due to work and my e-bike. I bought the bike from a specialist dealer in 2021, but unfortunately I haven't ridden it much since then. In total, I've ridden the bike for less than 500 km, so it's in good condition: no deep scratches, I haven't noticed any superficial scratches either, and there are no dents.
Partlist:
FORK RockShox ZEB Ultimate RC2, 180mm
SHOCK Absorber RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate, 230x62.5mm
BRAKE SYSTEM Hayes Dominion A4 (203mm/180mm)
SHIFTER Shimano XT RD-M8100-SGS, ShadowPlus, 12-Speed
SHIFT LEVER Shimano XT SL-M8100
CYCLES Race Face Turbine, 30T, 170mm
Pedals DMR Vault Brendog
CHAIN GUIDES MRP SXg Chain Guide
CASSETTE Shimano SLX CS-M7100, 10-51T
CHAINET Shimano CN-M6100
WHEEL SET Newmen Evolution SL A.30, 15x110mm / 12x148mm
FRONT TIRES Continental Kryptotal-F Enduro Soft 2.4
REAR TIRES Continental Kryptotal-R Enduro Soft 2.4
FRONT BAR Race Face Turbine R 35
HANDLEBARS Race Face Turbine R 35, 800mm
GRIPS SDG Thrice
SADDLE SDG Tellis 150mm
SADDLE SQLab 611 in width 13 (Cube saddle also available)
STEER SET ACROS Integrated (0.6° Angle Adjustment)
The following things were changed/done by me:
1. last service last year in fall
2. pedals see above
3. front suspension tuning of the shock at MRC-Trading (brings significantly more support in the mid-travel range)
4. saddle see above
5. tires converted to tubeless and Continental Kryptotal (very good choice!), including Peaty's tubeless valves (also highly recommended)
The bike is super versatile, I mainly used it on tours with home trails here in my home country (I live in the countryside). It's very easy to pedal and also goes downhill well. The shock tuning in particular has helped the rear end a lot, and the Rock Shox ZEB Ultimate is a safe bet anyway. The brakes are the best DOT brakes I've ever ridden and the Shimano XT drivetrain is also absolutely solid.
I would also consider swapping it for an adequate downhill bike!
Please contact me if you have any questions!
