Due to relocation I am selling a unique piece with a very heavy heart.
It's a custom build, neo vintage: every component is a tribute to mountain bike history. Each part was chosen because there has been a similar part from the same brand in the last 35 years that has shaped MTB history. Some examples: Magura Raceline and Gustav M, DT Swiss hubs, Rock Shox RS1, etc.
The bike was shown in some exhibitions/events.
The bike is of course fully trail ready and has been ridden almost 1500km. Always very well maintained. I also have an Enduro MTB for harder approaches which ensures that this Ricthey was only ridden on rather quiet trails
I am a bike mechanic myself and have worked in stores (since the beginning of the MTB era in Europe).
The frame is completely protected with foil. Not a single scratch. Chain has already been changed and has less than 400km. All components are scratch-free. So condition is really like new despite use. MTB and mechanics are my passions...
In detail:
Frame: Original Richtey Ultra; size M. Compatible with 27.5 or 29 wheels
Fork: One of the 200 limited RS1 forks in original Rock Shox RS1 color, 130mm travel
Brakes: Magura Raceline Trail Edition (MT7 front and MT8 rear). Special set!
Groupset: SRAM AXS X01 Complete (in the pictures I had not yet built the AXS rear derailleur)
Seatpost: SRAM Reverb converted to cable control (much more stable). Complete service done. Pictures are still before de, service with standard Reverb oil line and lever. Original parts are included.
LRS: DT Swiss XMC 1200 with RS1 hub 27.5
Tires: Onza 2.8 VR Porcupine; HR Canis, tubeless mounted (on the pictures HR is a Porcupine; it is also part of the sale as an additional tire)
Saddle: Selle Italia SLR Boost S3
Stem: Ritchey
Handlebar: Ritchey Carbon 780mm
Headset: Ritchey
Grips: Ritchey
Most of the OVP are included (in the frame box); and also Ritchey stumps, T-shirt. All tools to maintain the fork are also included, as well as a new seal set (200pcs) for the fork
