Aluminium spacer for Magura MT7 Raceline brake calipers and other disc brakes.

The contact surface of most of the original bolts used causes unsightly imprint marks in brake calipers from almost all manufacturers. Magura in particular uses bolts with very thin bolt heads, which even with the correct torque of approx. 6 Nm press into the aluminum of the caliper. A particular problem are calipers with layers of paint such as the Magura Raceline brakes, where damage and paint chips occur in the paintwork when the bolts are tightened. In the pictures I have shown three examples of paint chips in Magura Raceline calipers. Not only painted calipers suffer from the problem of unsightly marks caused by brake mounting bolts, but any type of aluminum or magnesium caliper.


These aluminium spacers minimize the risk of damage and paint chips in the contact surface of the brake bolts in the caliper. The spacers are suitable for all standard postmount calipers and postmount adapters that are fastened with M6 bolts.
