Item description: Merida eOne-Sixty 8000 in größe L
I am selling my Merida Eone Sixty 8000.
I bought the bike in August 2021, it has been ridden 1203 km since then.
It was only ridden on the local home trails, never in the bike park.
The battery has always been stored at home.
The bike got a new fork in 2021. The original Marzocchi Z1 was replaced with a
Rock Shox Zeb Ultimate was exchanged. In 2022, the fork was upgraded to a Vorsprung Smashpot steel spring kit. Parts for dismantling the steel spring kit are available and are of course included.
The rear derailleur was replaced after two defective ones. Now "only" a Shimano Deore is fitted, but it lasts. With the original XT I had a bent cage twice. Fortunately, the derailleur hanger didn't suffer any damage due to a solid stick on the trail. In other words, I swapped an XT for an XT and then had bad luck again. That's why the Deore, purely from the shifting it does what it should, I have installed the ball bearing derailleur pulleys from the XT.
There are also two front wheels. One is the original with a Maxxis Shorty in Double Down MaxxGrip and the other is a Shimano XT which can be seen in the pictures with a Maxxis Wetscream mounted on it. The Shimano front wheel has a dent, but I bought it used because it was only intended for the bad season, despite the dent it didn't cause any problems.
I'm also adding a Maxxis Assegai in MaxxGrip and a Maxxis Aggressor in MaxxTerra. Both tires have been ridden but still have almost full tread, as I wasn't entirely happy with either of them. They were fitted ex works. I also have new brake pads for the front and rear. A Granite Design Stash Rt Multitool is still installed in the head tube and will remain in there. As well as the Mudhugger.
Unfortunately there is a scratch underneath the head tube as the fork managed to turn completely once. See picture 2, fortunately only the paint is affected.
The new price of the bike was 5945€ without the changes that have been added.
