Transition Bikes Patrol Carbon XL | 27,5" | 160 mm | Enduro Trailbike

Hi, selling my trusty Transition Patrol Carbon 2017 due to switching to a 29er Fully.
Since I've owned it (2019), I've enjoyed riding it a lot, as it's simply a fun and well-functioning bike that was ahead of its time in my opinion.

• Frame MJ2017, full carbon, light blue, cables routed internally in the main frame. Some paint damage, especially on the inside of the chain and seat stays. Otherwise, completely foil-coated by the first owner and with additional rubber protection on the down tube and VHS tape on the chainstay. Incl. replacement derailleur hanger

• The geometry is still up to date, no longer an XL enduro bike but an L trail bike

• Shock RS Super Deluxe RCT 230x65 Metric with MegNeg and MST tuning for 75 kg weight. Normal air chamber is available to try out

• The 2017 model has a much more progressive linkage than its predecessor & successor, so the frame would also be great for coil. Generally relatively low gearing, 65mm stroke for 155mm travel

• DVO Diamond suspension fork, air spring with adjustable OTT steel negative spring. Regularly self-serviced, HSC shim stack made lighter by removing a shim to make better use of the adjustment range. Approx. 19.5 cm shaft

• 1x11 shimano cassette 11-51. 12-speed rear derailleur, 11-speed XTR levers. Super smooth and robust. 12-speed crank with 32 KB, groupless XTR (FC-MT900)
• Wheels Hope Pro4 /DT Swiss 32L with Sapim Race. Front XM481, rear EX471. Robust and carefree LRS. 44 PoE and great sound. If someone is bothered by the red VR hub, I can swap the VR for another one with a black Hope Pro2Evo

• Specialized GridTrail tires, new sticky Butcher T9 front, good rolling Eliminator T7 rear. Can also fit a different combination from my stock if required, just ask

• Brakes Shimano SLX with 4-piston Zee caliper at the front. Perfect function, low maintenance. Freshly bled. Discs Shimano XT 203 V, 180 h.
• Adjustable seatpost 31.6 OneUp V2, 210 mm. Pins to reduce the stroke are included if someone has shorter legs.
• Handlebar Aluminum 780 mm with 30 mm rise
• 45 mm Ritchey WCS stem
• Grips: Lock-On Mondraker house brand black
• Pedals and saddle I would prefer to keep, but can also be negotiated if required. Have some options there

At 1.86 m, the bike fitted me well and was always a pleasure to ride. Depending on where you live, it was easy to adapt to the conditions of the terrain, and at approx. 14.5 kg it is lighter than comparable current trail bikes.

The price is made up as follows:
699€ frame incl. shock, 200 fork, 200 LRS, 100 brakes, 100 drivetrain, 100 seatpost, 50 cockpit and small parts, 50 tires.

Preferably pick up after test ride in Passau - if necessary, you could also arrange a meeting at a distance of about Munich, Regensburg, Linz or Salzburg. Or shipping if you don't want a test ride.
