Item description: Merida ONE-TWENTY, MTB, Fully, Trailbike, 29er
I am selling my 29er Merida OneTwenty in size M. Over time it has become a custom build project.
Apart from the usual and unavoidable scuffs and scratches, the bike is in great condition. It has been cleaned after every ride, the chain freshly oiled, etc. and always well looked after.
About the bike and the riding characteristics:
I think the description "mixture of XC and trailBike" is the best way to describe it. Downcountry, so to speak.
You don't adopt too upright a posture, rather a little stretched out, which enables good propulsion and long tours, also thanks to the easy-rolling Schwalbe Race tires.
The head tube is quite short, so you can build up a lot of pressure on the front wheel on downhills and, thanks to the not too extreme wheelbase, also maneuver through tight downhill corners.
The frame is also not as extremely stiff as many carbon bikes, but has a very pleasant flex. This makes the rear end feel really plush and frees up the suspension travel well. This is also helped by the Float Link shock linkage and the RockShox Deluxe shock with trunnion mount. If you like it firmer, you can lock out the rear suspension. Suspension travel 120mm.
The compression of the RockShox Sektor fork with DebonAir cartridge can be tightened in 5 steps up to the lockout. Ideal for long climbs. Suspension travel 130mm.
The cables are routed in the frame and are clamped to the head tube.
The frame is fitted with a large frame protector on the down tube. The same applies to the chainstay on the drive side.
With the exception of the fork and shock, all add-on parts have been replaced with better and higher quality components, e.g.:
- Reverse Seismic carbon handlebars incl. Reverse S-Trail stem
- Shimano XT brakes, 200 disk front (!) 180 rear
- SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain with 34t chainring at the front for good propulsion
- Oneup dropper post with 150mm for more freedom of movement
- Schwalbe Racing Ray, Racing Ralph tires, 2.35 inch each, almost NEW
- wide rims with 30mm rim width
- Race Face Chester pedals
- Fidlock Bike Base mount + Twist Bottle 450
Those who know their way around know that they are getting a great bike at a fair price. So please refrain from stupid and/or outrageous requests. I will also not answer any "what last price" inquiries.
And this is not a distress sale.
Happy to arrange a test drive.
I will gladly send further photos on request.
No shipping, only pickup .
The usual disclaimer:
The sale takes place under exclusion of any liability for material defects. Liability for damages due to injury to health, body or life and grossly negligent and/or intentional violations of my obligations as seller remains unaffected.
