Innovative concept of the Comete Ultimate

Mavic calls the carbon construction that surrounds the foot Energy Shell Carbon. This should guarantee power transmission without any loss of energy. A sole height of just 4.5 mm is also intended to optimize biomechanics and guarantee a perfect connection to the road bike. The carbon outer shoe is closed by 2 Ergo Dial twist closures with two-way micro-adjustment. Thanks to the 'Smart Release' function, the shoes can be opened and removed quickly and easily, promises Mavic.

Particularly interesting: as the complete inner shoe can simply be removed from the shell, the Comete Ultimate offers the option of changing the inner shoe depending on the weather conditions. Mavic offers the liner in 2 versions: Rain Ride and Hot Ride. No matter which liner is worn: The soft inner material is designed to give the upper shoe an adaptive fit.
