The Dartmoor Thunderbird CF 29 is the bike for enduro trails, big drops and even downhill tracks. The 160 or 170 mm travel at the front and 160 mm at the rear combined with 29 inch wheels make the carbon frame a weapon in the enduro segment.
The Thunderbird 29 is a completely new development from Dartmoor. Even the angular and beautifully shaped carbon main frame is striking. Even the seat stays are made of carbon. The Onepiece rocker is made of forged aluminum. The chainstays and all inserts in the carbon frame are made of aluminum to guarantee resistance and durability.
During the development of the Dartmoor Thunderbird 29, particular attention was paid to lateral stiffness. This is achieved, among other things, through high-quality carbon fibers and increased wall thickness of the carbon tubes. Combined with the aggressive geometry and the progressive rear triangle, it accelerates very easily, is playful and precise to handle and reacts compensatingly to big hits.
The progressive construction performs excellently with both air and coil shocks, so that the rider has no limits when it comes to fine-tuning the suspension. The design also effectively reduces negative braking influences.
It has been successfully tested for durability and reliability in numerous overload tests with significantly higher loads than the required standard values. The handling of the Dartmoor Thunderbird carbon frame has been refined and optimized in countless hours on the trails and in the bike park.
