The Italian Mediterranean island of Elba is incredibly diverse and offers a dense network of ancient paths, mule tracks, mules and newly created trails through disused ore mines.
Many of the single trails can be ridden by mountain bike with varying demands on riding technique from easy - medium - difficult to extreme.

While other maps show the island on too large a scale with outdated trails without MTB classification, a completely new approach has been taken here.

This map set consists of 3 double-sided color maps scale 1:12500 99cm x 68cm and the trackbook with 32 pages in Italian - German - English - French.

With over 15 years of Elba experience and hiking, all trails are now recorded here and classified in color according to mountain bike single trail scale - at a super scale of 1:12500 - with additional detailed sections 1:7500 - 1:5000 !
Sentieri and the popular single trails can be clearly identified by the high-contrast color scheme; the tried-and-tested alpine color scheme was chosen for the main grades:
S1 easy - blue S2 medium - red S3 difficult black
S4-S5 trails (for absolute riding technique experts) and via ferratas/rock paths for hikes (without bikes) are also shown in full.

Elevation points at prominent points make it easier to recognize the elevation profile, and there is also information on high points, low points and saddle cuts.

Since 2018, the Sentieri of the Parco Nazionale Arcipelago Toscano / CAI Elba have been reclassified and renumbered and are fully included in the maps.

The most interesting single trails have been compiled into 100 complete longer single track descents with differentiated riding techniques and highlights.
The enclosed four-language TrackBook describes each numbered track with
route, technical difficulty, panorama and overall rating,
divided into the four island sectors and areas.
It also includes a sorted list of the best single tracks to choose from for several weeks of vacation.
