Sure, there are countless gravel and road bikes with a few extra millimeters of tire clearance, but the VRC is a completely different caliber. It is a sporty all-road bike without the usual compromises and breaks with common conventions. Aerodynamics are important, but not everything - greater comfort will get you to your destination faster and fresher. The extended seat stays in combination with the VR node construction ensure a symbiosis of flexibility and stiffness in all the right places. Perfectly stiff for your next KOM hunt on asphalt, and robust enough to ride at speed on the unpaved back roads that you've always seen on your old road circuit but never dared to take under your wheels.

You may not even have noticed the hidden mudguard mounts, but they're there. And in combination with the high flatmount disc brakes, bad weather is really no excuse for missing a ride.
