The Transition Repeater E-MTB is equipped with the Shimano EP8 system, which provides 85 Nm of torque, 250 watts of continuous power and even 500 watts at peak power. All model variants are equipped with Shimano's color display, which is the best of its kind. This means you can immediately see which mode you are currently in.
The integrated Shimano 630 Wh battery can be removed quickly and easily with a 4 mm Allen key, so you can have a spare battery installed in no time at all and be back on the trails quickly while the other battery is already charging. Since the entire system comes from Shimano, you can also get spare parts anywhere in the world.
The EP8 motor is pre-tuned by Transition with two profiles to maximize battery life and give you the best riding experience. Profile 1 gives you powerful support and a natural riding experience in TRAIL mode. BOOST gives you the extra support when you really need it, and ECO has been tuned better for use on flowing trails. Profile 2 was designed for maximum range to support you over as many kilometers as possible. You can easily adjust all modes (Eco, Trail and Boost) for both Profile 1 and 2 to your own needs and preferences in the Shimano E-Tube app. The Shimano EP8 system was specially developed for off-road use and therefore offers seamless integration, plenty of power and setting options to adjust the motor support to your preferences.
