Item description: Rocky Mountain Slayer Carbon 29“
Selling my Rocky Mountain Slayer 29" Carbon frame in size Large.
Extremely versatile thanks to the Ride4 system. This allows you to adjust the geometry (e.g. steering angle adjustable from 63.2° to 64.1°) and progression for shocks (e.g. air and coil work equally well). I have included the 4 settings with 180 mm suspension fork in the pictures
Attention, without shock. Pictures serve as an example for the setup. I had it set up as an enduro and rode it that way and did most of the pedaling myself.
I captured the signs of use in pictures as best I could, I think you can see it well in the detailed pictures. You can hardly see it from a distance. There are of course scratches, especially on the HR on the yoke. Hence the low price. The lettering is in white paint pen and can be easily removed. Apart from the small scratches, of course, no damage and the rear end runs great.
Matching rear shock and suspension fork also required? See my other ads
In winter 2023/2024 I have renewed all bearings on SKF Bearings.
Frame comes with:
FSA headset
Chain guide (upper guide integrated in the frame, bashguard on the tabs)
Seat clamp
Thru axle (Boost, 148x12mm)
I leave the shifter and dropper post Bowden cable in the frame. Likewise the Magura MT5 brake line. vlt it fits by chance so. If not, the assembly may be easier. Even if there are tubes laminated into the frame anyway, it wouldn't be a problem without them.
I'm selling it because I'm too old for it and don't dare to jump anyway :-)! So I switched to something with less travel
