The Dartmoor Hornet Pro is the counterpart to the Thunderbird FR - only as a hardtail instead of Fully. The aluminum frame has been completely redesigned and can be driven with 27.5 inch wheels or as a Mullet. The combination with wide tires and 140 to 180 mm travel makes the Hornet Pro more potent than a hardtail ever was.
From flow trails, over Endurotracks up to genuine downhill runs - for all that the Hornet Pro is made. The robust construction and the adapted geometry leave nothing to be desired. Thanks to the tire clearance for up to 2.8 inches, even coarse downhill tires can be driven on the 27.5 inch wheels in the Hornet Pro. Maneuverability and traction are thus guaranteed. But even as a mullet bike with front 29 inches and rear 650B makes the hardtail a good figure. In combination with up to 180 mm of suspension travel, it becomes a real DH weapon. And as another feature, even 1.8" tapered forks with 68-69 mm bridges can be installed.
Proven such as externally routed cables and cables, Postmount brake mount, chain guide and Boost standard were of course adopted.
