Item description: Pivot Cycles Trail 429
Selling my super well-maintained Pivot Trail 429 with Ride GX AXS, size XL, but with Fox 34 Factory Kashima fork, bought at the end of August 2023. Noble boutique bike from Phoenix/USA. Perfect down-country bike not only downhill, but also uphill.
Well maintained, treated it like a raw egg. Was wrapped in paint protection film before the first ride. I rode it on tours in the low mountain ranges in Germany, I can't ride it in a bike park because I'm in my late 50s...
Great equipment on carbon frame in cool color Willow Green in size XL. I am 190cm tall myself. According to Pivot's recommendation, good for 185cm and taller.
Instead of the Fox Performance fork, I installed the Fox Factory fork with the golden Kashima coating, which resulted in a new price of approx. 8900€.
The bike comes with the original new brakes, brake rotors, grips, handlebars, stem and saddle, which were never fitted (saddle on seat post only now for the photos). I had ridden the Trail 429 with other components. I would be happy to fit the components to make the bike ready to ride.
Now the new e-bike wants to come.... The Trail 429 can go with a heavy heart.
Here is the equipment:
Frame: 2023 Pivot Trail 429 carbon frame in XL, color Willow Green - 120mm travel, completely foiled with Bruxafor ST-200
Shock: Fox Factory Float DPS trunnion mount, metric, length 165mm, stroke 45mm for 120mm travel
Fork: Fox Factory 34 29" FIT Grip2 - 130mm, 44mm pre-bend/rake
Wheels: Newmen Performance 30, 30mm internal width, 15x110 front/12x157 rear with Sram XD freehub, 28 spokes
Tires front+rear: Maxxis Dissector 29x2.4" Exo 3C Maxxterra (tubeless with Muc-Off sealant)
Brakes: 2x new unused Sram Guide RE 4-piston
Brake rotors: 2 x new unused Sram Centerline 180, 6-hole
Seatpost: new unused Fox Transfer Performance, 200mm travel, 31.6mm diameter with new remote and cables, (distance from center of bottom bracket to top of saddle with post fully inserted into frame 76.5cm; with post fully removed from frame to minimum insertion depth 90cm)
Crank: Sram GX Eagle DUB, 175mm, 32 teeth
Rear derailleur: Sram GX Eagle AXS wireless, 12-speed incl. battery
Shift lever: Sram AXS Pod Controller with Infinity clamp, wireless, 12-speed
Cassette: Sram GX Eagle 10-52, 12-speed
Chain: Sram GX Eagle Transmission flat-top, 12-speed
Handlebars: new unused Pivot Phoenix Low Rise Aluminum; width 780mm; rise 20mm
Stem: new unused Phoenix Team Enduro/Trail, length 55mm, clamping 35mm
Grips: new unused Phoenix Factory Lock-On
Saddle: new unused WTB Volt with Pivot logo
The following is also included:
-charger for Sram Eagle AXS rear derailleur battery with USB cable
-derailleur hanger for standard rear derailleurs to screw onto the UDH interface
Foam hoses for rattle-free routing of brake lines and cables in the frame
-Instructions for bike, Fox fork, Fox shock, Fox seatpost
-Additional replacement covers for cable entries in the frame
The protective film has done a good job, but has hardly been used and has protected the frame perfectly. The film is partially roughened or slightly scratched, but did not go through to the frame. You can see the edges of the film in the pictures.
Take a look at the many pictures. More if required.
Inspection possible. Shipping possible for an extra charge. However, collection and test drive is preferred and recommended.
Private sale, therefore no warranty.
