The Spur from Transition Bikes is made for technical trail tours, fast marathon laps and long Transalps! The 29er with 120 mm travel at the front and rear lets you climb uphill efficiently on trails and forest tracks and gives you plenty of reserves on the way down, so that you can shred the vertical meters with fun and speed.

The frame of the Transition Spur is made entirely from high-quality Japanese Toray carbon fibers. The unique EPS molding process with latex coating enables a beautifully angular frame shape. Unnecessary material is saved, resulting in a very good stability-to-weight ratio. The lightweight full carbon frame comes with a 190 mm x 45 mm air suspension shock that offers 120 mm of travel. The number of volume spacers and the sag, which can be set from 25 to 35%, allow you to adjust the trail to your own preferences, from firm and reactive to calm and compensating. The flex of the struts even eliminates the need for bearings and pivot points on the rear triangle. This further reduces weight and maintenance. If you want something a little sportier, you can also install a shock with 100 mm travel (190 x 40 mm). The GiddyUP suspension of the Transition Spur makes setting up the shock easier than ever before. The almost 30% progression and linear spring curve offer the perfect balance between responsiveness even on small bumps and minimizing drivetrain influence. This guarantees efficient pedaling and acceleration and yet the suspension reacts immediately as soon as the ground demands it. This makes a lockout lever superfluous. The 29er wheels give the Spur the best rollover behavior on rough terrain and suggest more suspension travel than it says on paper. The 2.4 inch wide tires are the ideal combination of traction even on rough trails and low rolling resistance. So you can eat up the kilometers and cover a lot of distance. The Spur has a short seat tube, which allows a dropper post with more travel and thus unrestricted freedom of movement on the trails. High-quality, low-maintenance bearings from EnduroMAX in standard sizes available everywhere are a further bonus of the marathon bike. The practical accessory holder under the top tube, where accessories and spare parts can be attached, is ideal for long days in the saddle. And two water bottle holders take the strain off the rucksack or even make it completely unnecessary.
