Basso Ascot 1988 - Campagnolo-C-Record-Bremse & Antrieb - Vintage Rennrad

Selling a used but fully functional Basso Ascot vintage road bike from 1988, including the legendary Campagnolo C-Record (Delta) brakes with Cobalto brake levers and Campagnolo C-Record 1st generation drivetrain from 1984/85 (2nd gen crankset)!

Original parts except for freshly wrapped Brooks handlebar tape, as well as Continental tubular tires (new at the front, lightly ridden at the rear) and the front Mavic rim.
Definite signs of use and paint defects, as well as flash rust see photos - the bike has been ridden but well cared for. I have cleaned it, but not scraped away every last bit of the patina. In the medium term, the brake pads should be replaced and the hub bearings re-adjusted, and the headset and bottom bracket re-greased.

Sold without pedals and without bottle cage, two of the four bottle cage screws are also missing.

Each of the Columbus MS tubes from 1987 has a different shape: The top tube is slightly oval, the chainstay on the non-drive side is triangular and oval on the drive side, the down tube is teardrop-shaped with an edge towards the ground. Most of the cables are routed internally.
