Santa Cruz Bicycles Megatower V1 CC LARGE Custom Build

Hello everyone,

I'm selling my 2020 custom-built CUSTOM Santa Cruz MEGATOWER v1 (CC frame, i.e. even lighter and of a higher quality finish!) in size L. The bike has mainly seen typical local enduro trails in the Taunus, with a total of 8,789 km on the clock (Strava logged without gaps) (as of early May 2025). A lot has already been written about the bike, I can only say from my own experience that it climbs very well for the suspension travel and intended use and can then be sent down the most demanding trails! A very good compromise between pedalability and resistance, so to speak. At just under 15 kg, it's also pleasantly light (depending on tires, pedals, etc.).

First of all: there is currently only ONE picture uploaded - I think the purchase only makes sense if you get a picture of the current condition ON SITE, live in Oberursel. There are minor imperfections here and there, but the bike is in (very) good condition for its age (thanks to the InvisiFrame frame protection film and RockGuard under the bottom bracket)!

Other "wear and tear" (I can send detailed photos on request!):
- Fork with minor scratches on the casing
- slightly scratched Fox fork decals, can be replaced
- minor chips on the RockGuard under the bottom bracket (that's what it's for, the frame was protected accordingly!)
- here and there, as already mentioned, minor imperfections but nothing that would impair functionality

The bike was always very well looked after, e.g. after every muddy ride it was (gently!) watered with a garden hose, the chain and drivetrain were oiled and the bearings on the bottom bracket were greased with a grease gun using the typical Santa Cruz grease nipple.

Incidentally, the wheels were custom-built by the specialist "German Lightness" here in Frankfurt.
