Reynolds TR 289C XC 29 Carbon Trail Laufradsatz

Hello everyone,

I'm going to part with my 29 inch carbon wheelset due to conversion to Mullet and training in wheel construction.

The set is from my Canyon Exceed CF 7 (2021 generation) bought at the beginning of 2022.

There were big white decals on it that just said "Reynolds 289C XC". I thought that was terrible, so I got rid of them.

The condition of the wheels is almost as good as new, apart from a few isolated small dents caused by stone chips. In detail:

Front wheel:
Bearing condition -> Like new, run like butter
Lateral runout -> 0.18 mm measured with dial gauge
Vertical runout -> 0.35 mm measured with dial gauge
Spoke tension -> Checked with tensiometer and evenly high (cannot be specified in N due to the calibration tables)
Damage -> Only minor paint marks, no deeper damage to the carbon
Rim flanges: No traces of contact. So no puncture.
Rim: UD Carbon asymmetric, 28 holes
Spokes: 302mm/303mm, Sapim Sprint, butted 2.0/1.8mm, straight pull
Hub: Boost 15x110 mm
Brake rotor: Centerlock

Weight WITHOUT valve and rim tape: 762g
Color: rim visible carbon unidirectional, spokes glossy black, hub matt black

Rear wheel:
Bearing condition -> Somewhat rough, but still smooth-running. You can clearly feel it in your hand, on the wheel they roll forever when you push the wheel and you can't hear anything either
Lateral runout -> 0.2 mm measured with a dial gauge
radial runout -> 0.39 mm measured with a dial gauge
Spoke tension -> Checked with tensiometer and evenly high (cannot be specified in N due to the calibration tables)
Damage -> Only minor paint marks, no deeper damage to the carbon
Rim flanges: No traces of contact. So no puncture.
Rim: UD Carbon asymmetric, 28 holes
Spokes: 302mm/303mm, Sapim Sprint, butted 2.0/1.8mm, straight pull
Hub: Boost 12x148 mm
Brake rotor: Centerlock

Freewheel: SRAM XD, pawl freewheel with 30 clicks, is the smoothest freewheel I have ever seen/experienced... It runs so smooth as cream.

The wheels have hardly been used (I'm guessing around 3000km) and when they have, it's on the aforementioned trail hardtail. They have never been centered and all the spokes and ball bearings are still the first ones. Just like the Reynolds TR309 from my Canyon Spectral, the Reynolds wheels are simply super robust and stay "straight as a die" for a long time without getting bumpy.
