For sale is an almost new wheelset - hand-built at R2-Bike about 2-3 months ago, ridden exactly twice since then.
Why am I selling it? I have too many wheelsets / bikes - (see also my other ads).
The wheelset consists of the following components:
Rims: BEAST RX60 Carbon, 28", 24 hole, UD finish - made in Germany.
Hubs: Hope Pro 5 in silver - super reliable.
Spokes & nipples: Sapim Race + aluminum upsidedown nipples
The rims alone cost almost € 2000, plus around € 600 - € 700 for the hubs and around € 300 for the wheel construction at R2-Bike.
In total, I invested around € 3000 - so the price of € 1790 is fixed and non-negotiable. I am already making a considerable loss.
Note to the first picture: The wheels were still mounted at the time of the photo - now they are already disassembled, including tires, and are neatly packed in a wheel bag, ready for shipping.
