Dear interested parties,
For sale herewith is my unridden racing bike collector's item from MASI Milano, one of the great racing bike frame builders from Italy, where German Olympic champions and exceptional athletes from all over the world, among others, still order their custom-made frames due to the incomparably perfect frame geometry - often in chrome-molybdenum, however.
One of the most famous racing bike frame manufacturers in history, the Masi company, is located on the Milano racetrack and has been THE epitome of perfect frame geometry since the 1970s.
There won't be a second bike in the world in this configuration! It is a full carbon frame (high modulus carbon incl. carbon fork), which as far as I know could not be ordered in exactly this configuration, as series production in exactly this configuration unfortunately did not materialize. The mixture of black, red, white and the shimmering carbon can be described as a typical Italian color scheme (based on Ducati or Ferrari) and is a feast for the eyes that is second to none. No expense has been spared on any detail.
Carbon, magnesium, titanium, this bike is brimming with high-quality and exclusive details. Even the handlebar tape is from the SRAM Red series.
In terms of value development, I see it like a Lamborghini Miura, which was also extremely undervalued for a long time and is slowly picking up.
Although old Ferraris were considered much more valuable for a long time. But people are slowly starting to take a closer look at the history of super sports cars - and there's just as little getting around this bike as there is the Lamborghini Miura! :-)
Anyone who knows the stock market knows that profit lies in buying. In this respect, I also predict potential for an increase in value here - with the difference that the riding experience with this bike is an incredible pleasure - with more than 50,000 km of cycling experience, a duathlon on an old Brindisi from the 80s and various frames from BMX to Boonanza to folding bikes, trekking, a dirt bike and the racing bike, you immediately notice when a bike is special.
I have owned many extraordinary bikes in my life, some have not survived - some I still have - but this one is SO different and also SPECIAL that I didn't even want to ride it myself because I couldn't bring myself to - it's unique and incomparable. It's also wonderfully ANALOG!!! Not only because it's made of carbon, visually it could be THE highlight of any collection or you could NEVER buy it like that in the store, but also simply because of the frame geometry that the old Masi must have worked out for decades.
So there's something behind it that not everyone sees immediately. It's something VERY special.
You have to feel, touch and experience it!
The latter has not yet been done with this bike - it has not yet been used!
So you can understand that there are also frames from Masi that are completely gold-plated, for example! Which is undoubtedly not something that can be said of every manufacturer.
The tires and the handlebar tape are as good as new, the frame and the add-on parts are NEW and have not yet been used.
Pickup is absolutely preferred in this value range, especially since you simply can't get it back! Theoretically you could ship it, but I would be afraid of shocks because of the carbon, so no liability could be accepted for any transport damage. If you take the front wheel out, you can even get it into a small VW car.
